This digital print is from an original collage I created while in Morocco on holiday. It is inspired by the absolutely breathtaking Jardin Majorelle, in Marrakech. The gardens and villa were created in the 1920's by a French artist Jaques Majorelle and Cubist architect Paul Sinoir.
Bought by Yves Saint Laurent in the 1980's the gardens are now open to the public and there is an amazing museum about the French fashion designer on site as well.

I visited in May 2019 and spent several hours sketching the stunning views, the unbelievable cacti and other exotic plants.

I later developed my ideas through mono-printing and other mark making onto various papers and then with these papers, I created collages. The original collage of this print was made at a studio space in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco.

Printed onto Novalis Intense white 280 gram paper The paper size is A3 (42cm x 30cm) and should fit nicely into most standard A3 frames.

Each print is signed, titled and stamped with my logo stamp on the back. It will be sent unmounted and unframed and wrapped in a protective cello bag with a cardboard backing to ensure it reaches you safely.

Just a final note, I have described the colours of the print as carefully as I can, but please bear in mind monitor colours do vary.
