Eco Solid Shampoo Bars

Our Shea Chamomile, Lemon & Rose Geranium Eco Solid Shampoo Bars have been hand crafted using the cold process soap making method. Free from synthetic colours and fragrances, preservatives and SLS, we only use natural ingredients that are suitable for vegans, with no animal testing.

Our Solid shampoo bars are blended with shea butter and contain natural oils to nourish and hydrate your hair naturally.

Blended with castor oil, argan oil, shea butter, aloe, neem oil, camellia oil, vitamin E oil, and infused with extra Chamomile, Lemon and Rose Geranium essential oils.
 

Castor oil is one of the best natural treatments for thickening and regrowing hair. Shea butter seals in moisture, deep conditions hair, promotes hair growth, treats itchy scalp and inflammation. Argan oil naturally helps to increase hair's elasticity and consistently restore shine, and prevents breakage, as does vitamin E oil. Camellia oil is the secret to perfect hair rich in vitamins A, B, C, and E while being a great source of antioxidants and plant collagen, it also keeps your scalp naturally hydrated. Neem oil settles those annoying wispy hairs and frizz, as well as reduces dandruff. Aloe vera contains something called proteolytic enzymes which repairs dead skin cells on the scalp. It also acts as a great conditioner and leaves your hair smooth and shiny, as well as promoting hair growth.

HOW TO USE

Make sure your hair is wet, use your hands to lather up the shampoo and work really well into your hair using your hands. I find it is best to then run the bar directly onto your hair, as it's a gentle and smooth shampoo, it wont break or pull the hair.

Make sure you really spread it about, remember it isn’t really about using a large amount of shampoo, it is about really working it in.

Finish by rinsing thoroughly.

Unlike shampoos with synthetic chemicals in them you can use natural shampoo everyday as it doesn’t dry out your hair or coat it in a residue.

Please note when you first start using natural shampoos there is an adjustment period where you hair need to rid itself of all the chemical residues left from traditional shampoos.

TRANSITION PHASE

When you first switch to our natural shampoo bars, you may go through what is called a “transition phase”. During this time your hair may feel oily, and feel it has a waxy residue on it.

Conventional shampoos and conditioners contain silicone to make your hair feel soft and look shiny. These products leave residues that natural products find hard to remove.

Conventional shampoos tend to remove your natural oils causing your scalp to react and over-produce oils to compensate. So because natural shampoo bare are more gentle it may take time for your scalp to adjust to a new washing method.
