Wood and Perspex Triangle Necklace - Orange Stripe
This necklace is made from spalted Beech, a stripe of walnut, a stripe of transparent orange Perspex, and Elm.
It has a coloured elasticated cord with magnet clasp.
I make these necklace pendants in my workshop by finding small interesting piece of wood and matching them with a colour Perspex that compliments them.Often they are pieces of wood that would have otherwise been discarded, as they are too small. Once I’ve glued my offcuts of wood and Perspex together I cut them to a shape and sand them smooth. I drill holes for the hoops then finish them with oil followed by beeswax. They can then be taken home to be turned into a necklace.
