Stanage Edge is an iconic and well known gritstone escarpment forming part of the boundary between Derbyshire and Sheffield.  It is popular with climbers, walkers, and many others that enjoy the outdoors. Robin Hood's cave offers a shelter high up in the gritstone edge, looking out with views over the Derbyshire landscape below
