Animal magnet
Tax included.
I try to find a use for as much as possible, so that I waste as little as possible. These animal magnets are laser cut from what would have been wasted wood.
I’ve drawn the shape design, prepared the wood, I get them laser cut, then I carefully hand paint the edges. Each animal is given three or four layers of colourful paint and finished with a layer of satin toy varnish. I sand off any paint that rolled over the edges and I oil the wood. I use strong 6mm diameter neodymium magnets on the backs of the animals so they can be used to hold notes, post cards and artwork on fridge doors.
