Wooden hedgehog
Tax included.
I try to find a use for as much as possible, so that I waste as little as possible. These hedgehogs are cut using a band saw from what would have been waste wood of other woodworkers who work on a larger scale.
Once I have cut them, I drill holes for the eyes, sand them, soften the edges, oil them and then carefully hand paint the sides and a beak. Each hedgehog is given three or four layers of colourful paint and finished with a layer of satin toy varnish.
